The birds were divided into four treatment groups; control, </em><em>Justicia (JC), Ocimum gratissimum (OG), and JC+OG combination. Growth performance data were collected </em><em>and subjected to one way analysis of variance. Results showed significant improvements (p&lt;0.05) in the feed </em><em>intake, daily feed intake of 2045.80 g and 97.42 g, respectively, while the JC+OG combination had the highest </em><em>final weight of 1847.22 g (p&gt;0.05). Aqueous extracts of Justicia carnea and Occimun gratissimum had no </em><em>significant (p&lt;0.05) effect on feed conversion ratio (FCR). Oral administration of Justicia carnea and Ocimum </em><em>gratissimum extracts improved growth performance of broiler chickens, offering a potential natural alternative to </em><em>synthetic growth promoters.</em></p> ER -
